John Carapella

John Carapella is a residential real estate advisor with more than 20 years of experience representing buyers, sellers, and investors in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York City's most established and competitive residential markets, as well as select communities in Lower Westchester. A native New Yorker, John is known for his disciplined market analysis, steady professionalism, and client-centered approach to significant real estate decisions.

John is a member of The Agency New York, where he co-leads the Carapella Herschenfeld Team alongside Richard Herschenfeld. The team consistently ranks within the top 1% of real estate teams in New York and the top 1.5% nationwide, as recognized by The Wall Street Journal / REAL Trends among America's Best Real Estate Teams in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Over the course of his career, John has represented high-profile public figures, industry-leading C-suite executives, and some of New York City's most notable residential developers. While Manhattan and Brooklyn remain the primary focus of his practice, John also maintains a long-standing presence in Lower Westchester, particularly in Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Bronxville, and Scarsdale. John's experience spans resale and new development transactions, real estate investments, and advisory roles for clients in the entertainment, finance, and technology sectors.
